1955 to 1957′s are the second generation of Chevrolet Bel Air models. Chevrolet’s Bel Airs came with features that are usually found on lower model ranges but also with interior carpets, full wheel covers and chrome window moldings, chrome spears on front fenders and chrome headliner bands on hardtops. Yhe 1955 model came with a modern, overhead valve high compression V8 engine (4,340 cc). This type of engine was considered so good that it remained in production for decades.
